Henley Beach Masters Swimming Club

Henley Beach Masters Swimming Club is a group of swimmers aged 18 years and over who participate in all aspects of swimming for fitness, fun and friendship. We run regular swim sessions for our members at local pools and our coaches assist all members to achieve their personal goals. We also hold regular social events for members and families.

We provide a friendly and inclusive environment that encourages members, regardless of ability to swim regularly to improve their general wellbeing. We are affiliated with Masters Swimming Australia and abide by the rules and policies of that organisation.

While many of our members simply wish to improve their swimming and fitness some compete at Regional, State, National and World events. We also have members who use our training to assist them in the pursuit of other sporting disciplines.

Where do we come from?

The Henley and Grange Swimming Club is the oldest in South Australia, having been formed in 1912. In 1993 the Henley & Grange Club opened the Thebarton Aquatic Centre in Meyer St Torrensville, which serves as its head-quarters. Our predecessor, the Henley & Grange AUSSI Masters group was established as part of the Henley and Grange Club, also in 1993. Today the Henley Beach Masters group is operating as an independent organisation but retains strong ties to its Henley & Grange roots.
