Members can take part in coached swim training and fitness sessions conducted weekly throughout the year at the Thebarton Aquatic Centre. The Henley and Grange Swimming Club is the oldest in South Australia, having been formed in 1912. In 1993 the Henley & Grange Club opened the Thebarton Aquatic Centre in Meyer St Torrensville, which serves as its head-quarters. Our predecessor, the Henley & Grange AUSSI Masters group was established as part of the Henley and Grange Club, also in 1993. Event start time 10 am Registration will be available on line via Webscorer website until Midday Monday 10 February. PLEASE NOTE THAT REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY - YOU MUST REGISTER BY MIDDAY SATURDAY 19TH. On the day, registered swimmers can sign-in from 8.30am until 9.30am. The cost will be $50 for masters swimmers and Swimming SA members and $55 for non-members. There will be a 1km and 2km Swim starting at Henley Jetty and heading North in a 1km loop. The swim has a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes, being 10am start until finish at 11:15am. We are affiliated with Masters Swimming Australia and abide by the rules and policies of that organisation. While many of our members simply wish to improve their swimming and fitness some compete at Regional, State, National and World events.
